My Favorite Breakfast

Thought I would share with you guys my favorite breakfast that I have been having lately.

1/4 cup wheat bran

1/4 cup rolled oats

1/2 banana

1 T Chia Seeds

1T Almond Butter

1/4-1/2 cup egg whites


YUM. It is delicious, awesome blend of protein/fat/carbs and keeps me full.

P.s. Chia seeds are the greatest thing ever. Can’t believe it took me this long to try them. I swear they give me a TON of energy and make me feel AWESOME. 🙂

  1. I’ve thought about trying chia seeds but they are just so darn expensive! Supposedly they really thicken up oatmeal or a smoothie…

    Yea the hubs will need like 3800 calories to maintain his weight when he is working out. Must be nice! I can’t even figure out how to incorporate that much food! Although when you are 6’5” 235 it takes a lot to keep you fueled lol.


  2. Where do you get these Chia Seeds?? Is it like a Chia Pet? bahah Kidding, kidding. What are the benefits of them?
