i need

a vacation!

That is the only thing that I can think of that will cure me of my BLAH-ness.

I am tired ALL the friggin time. As in, i have energy in the morning to work out, and then around noon. DRAINED. Getting off the couch is hard. part of that is the 110 degree weather in this lovely state of arizona and although i have lived here my whole life, it still gets to me. It makes me want to curl up in a ball and nap, eat, sleep, repeat!

So, how will I fix this? Just keep plugging away. Get my workouts in, eat my food, and try to keep some sanity. I could be over training, i could be in a funk, or maybe i just……..

NEED A VACATION!!! 🙂

Make sure to take a breather! You've got a serious competition coming up and will be no good if your sick and in bed! You gotta keep pushing your body at the gym, yes but you also need to give it the rest it needs!

Oh yea, that's normal. Especially the first time around. Make sure you're getting enough healthy fats! I felt like poo and didn't want to move and ate some almonds one day and felt like a million bucks!

sounds like your right on track…LOL! i guess this is what most ppl DONT tell you about contest prep-well maybe they do but its hard to beleive your body can feel so drained all the time and bleh bleh yuck-BUT like others said, its "normal" at this point, and you just have to hang in there for the bumpy ride! and just remeber that if this comp thing were EASY then EVERYONE would do it–but only a small handful of ppl can say they did something like this-i promise it will be well worth all the hard work-once you are on stage, the feeling of being invencable and beautiful is simply amazing—an event/feeling/moment in your life you will never forget!!!so just keep on trucking along-i am in the EXACT smae boat you are in-i am so friggin tired and DRAINED,my advice is to continue the hard work in the gym and of couse be on point with nutrition but the key to NOT getting sick at this point is to SLEEP,and get your rest…and yes a handful of almonds when you feel like you cant walk to the door to get the gym…..:) happy training girl,24 more days, you got this!!!
