Im back!!

Sorry for that little spurt of MIAness. I have been busy and internet-less.

To finish up Tuesday:

I went to my training session with Dae, and I worked out with another fellow first-time competitioner(she is also in the posing group with me). We did shoulders and Dae totally kicked our butts. We went REALLY heavy and did drop sets and it was just AWESOME!! Loved it for sure. After speaking with my trainer and Lisa(the other girl I was working out with who is also a trainer) both of them said that a) I am not eating enough right now and b) I gotta ease up on the cardio! I eat 2000-2200 calories on most days which I thought was plenty, but apparently with all of the working out im doing, Dae suggested like 2800 calories per day!!!!! I don’t know if I can get up that high, but I will try to eat more. As for the cardio, I am going to try to ease up a little bit and do 30-45 min. per day instead of the full hour. He just wants to make sure that I can build as much muscle as possible for these last few months. Tuesday ended with 1979 calories…kinda low but oh well.

 

Wednesday:

I got up and went to the gym. I did triceps on my own and then legs with Dae. He totally kicked my ass once again. This man is a god that is all I have to say. I have never known someone with so much knowledge about muscles and muscle growth….and everything in general I guess haha. I then did 30 minutes of intervals on the elliptical. Then, although it was cloudy and kind of rainy, I headed off to the lake!!! No wakeboarding for me….1) because it was windy and 2) I wanted more than 1 entire day without neck injuries!!! I just relaxed at the camp site(a few of the guys camped there the night before) and then we went out on the boat in the late afternoon and hung out and some people wakeboarded but mostly we just chilled out. The weather was nice since it was drizzly and cloudy. We are heading back up there today too! Here is yesterday’s overview…WAYY too low on calories, but it is hard when im out at the lake all day.

Wednesday

MEAL 1

(Pre-Workout)

  • Rolled oats
  • ½ tbsp AB
  • 110g banana
  • 1c spinach
  • 1c egg whites

MEAL 2

(Post-Workout)

  • 1c egg whites
  • 182g sweet potato
  • 12 strawberries
  • 2.5 oz turkey breast
  • 2 small peaches

MEAL 3

  • 1 c egg whites
  • 2 grapefruits
  • 3 apples
  • (me and my damn fruit lol!)
  • ½ TBSP AB

MEAL 4

  • 2.5 oz turkey breast
  • 1 small peach
  • 15 almonds

TRAINING

  • Triceps/Legs
  • A few different types of pushdowns and pulldowns
  • Overhead extensions
  • Dips with 25 lb weight
  • Band pull downs
  • Leg extensions(toes straight,in, out and single leg)
  • Calf raises(toes straight, in and out)
  • Smith machine hack squats
  • Smith machine lunges
  • Hip adductors
  • Hip abductors
  • Step ups with med ball

CARDIO

  • 30 min. elliptical-intervals

TOTAL CALORIES IN

TOTAL CALORIES OUT(through exercise)

    I’ve thought to myself for a while you probably do too much cardio, but never said anything because you obviously know your body more than me 😉
